Aasted wants to balance our responsibilities to employees, shareholders, and the environment. That’s why we’ve made the Triple Ps (People, Planet, Profit) the foundation of the revised business strategy that everyone from our board of directors to our youngest managers now follow.

We use our Responsibility5 framework to operationalize and follow up on our strategic intent. This framework helps everyone in the organization act on our five shared responsibilities every day. We use this framework to track and report our progress in reaching goals that are specific, measurable, ambitious, and achievable.

Together, we’re stronger. As we work towards more sustainable products and processes, we seek partnerships with likeminded organizations, close collaboration with customers and vendors, and talented people who share our values and want to join us.

Responsible business

We do business ethically, comply with international and local legislation, and seek partnerships that create value for the many – not just for ourselves.

Responsible processes

As we work towards net-zero by 2030 to mitigate the risks of climate change and environmental degradation, we will continue to reduce CO2 emissions from our production and administrative facilities and use the resources available to us with increasing efficiency.

Responsible products

Prioritizing R&D and innovation projects that will enable us to become fit for circularity and partnering up with suppliers and customers to reduce environmental impacts we will work to meet our goal of halving the CO2e emissions across our entire supply chain.

Responsible culture

We strive to create an inclusive, empathic organization that enables all to develop professionally and personally.

Our working environments must be healthy, safe places that promote physical, psychological, and social wellbeing for all employees – and respect for the environment.

Aasted is a member of United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), the world’s largest voluntary initiative for ethical and responsible business conduct.

By incorporating UNGC’s 10 principles within the areas of human and labor rights, environmental sustainability, and anti-corruption into our strategies, policies, and procedures, Aasted embraces a culture of integrity in all dealings and makes a strong commitment to sustainable development.

UN Sustainable Development Goals

Aasted is committed to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and prioritizes the SDGs where we have the greatest impact:

SDG 9 – Industry, innovation and infrastructure
SDG 12 – Responsible consumption and production
SDG 13 – Climate action
SDG 17 – Partnerships for the goal

Because all SDGs are integrated and interconnected, our policies and actions must support the goals holistically.


EcoVadis is the world’s most trusted provider of sustainability ratings. More than 90,000 companies in over 200 industries use the EcoVadis platform, scorecard, benchmarks, and improvement tools to work towards more sustainable supply chain practices and products.

In 2022 EcoVadis awarded Aasted with a Platinum Medal for our sustainability practices and results.
