The Jensen Flex Line

2011-12-19
The Jensen Flex line is one of the most flexible moulding lines in the Aasted product family. The flex zone of the line is built on a stainless steel frame in a modular design for variable lengths of the zones.

All equipment such as depositors, FrozenCone units, Edge melting devices of the flex zone are mounted on the frame with the smart flex bracket; this ensures that there are no holes in the frames at all and furthermore allows the user to easily relocate the equipment on the line for new production methods.

All production equipment is located in the operator level for easy operation and cleaning. The Flex zones are all safeguarded by a polycarbonate guard with doors, which provide good access for inspection during production or cleaning of the line. Cable trays can be located below the process zone or above the line with vertical drop-outs to the consumption points of the line.

All main components, such as cooling/demoulding sections, chain, rails, turning points, and main drives are based on the well-known Aasted Universal and Jensen lines, which ensure a thoroughly tested design.

The line is available from simple standard solutions to very complex lines just by choosing from the high variety of add-on components available.

Examples of add-on equipment:

  • Barrier- and decoration spray systems.
  • Flex FrozenCone units for shell making.
  • Drum feeders for placing of biscuits, nuts or cherries.
  • Wafer cut and place units.
  • Wafer feeding robot.
  • Decoration robot.
  • Vacuum/Robot demoulding into blisters or on belts.

The line comes in widths from 500, 700, 1000 and 1200mm and with a mould pitch of 12” in production speeds up to 20 moulds per minute.
