ALICE - Now as 2-Layer Line

So far nougat and caramel have been produced on so-called slab lines. However, as latest news from Aasted we are proud to announce that we are now capable of supplying dual layer bar lines for nougat and caramel, which open up a world of new opportunities with ALICE™.

Now the slitting, spreading and dividing table is no longer necessary, since the product comes directly from our ALICE™ to the cooling tunnel, next to the Aasted ultrasonic guillotine cutter, then to enrober and the final cooling tunnel.

This is possible only due to the unique combination of our innovative system of FlexBooster™ and CamRotor™, The FlexBooster™ effectively captures the mass in the hopper and gently guides the mass towards the CamRotor™ at the bottom. The booster speed is significantly reduced compared to traditional solutions. Shearing and smearing of inclusions in the mass are minimized, and mass return-run circulation to the hopper is eliminated.

The benefits are: No slitting, spreading and dividing table, and no surplus scrap at slitting.

The first dual layer bar line is already in production here at Aasted and we can only say: The results are excellent!
